Earn Money for Tuition
To help families reduce their annual tuition, Saints Philip and James School has revamped its RaiseRight gift card program. Beginning in the 2026-2027 school year, families will receive 80% of their gift card earnings and there is no minimum requirement. At the end of the school year (July), each family’s RaiseRight earnings will be applied directly to their FACTS tuition account or they may opt to receive a check instead.
You buy a gift card from SSPJ School at no additional cost. The brand that you purchased donates a percentage of the sale to Saints Philip & James School.
For example:
- You buy a $100 ShopRite gift card, you get a $100 ShopRite gift card. ShopRite donates 4% ($4) to SSPJ. SSPJ gives you 80% ($3.20) in July.
- Buy a $50 Wawa gift card, you get a $50 Wawa gift card. Old Navy donates 2% ($1) to Saints Philip & James School. SSPJ gives you 80% ($0.80) in July.
- Buy a $25 Old Navy/GAP/Athleta gift card, you get a $25 Old Navy/GAP/Athleta gift card. Wawa donates 14% ($3.50) to Saints Philip & James School. SSPJ gives you 80% ($2.80) in July.
1. Order Gift Cards
To places where you normally shop, dine, and get gas. Over 750 brands available!
- Create an account to order online at Raiseright.com
- Send payment and order form to SSPJ School.
- Stop by theschool office during school hours. We keep popular brands in-stock for immediate pickup.
2. Pick Up
- You’ll receive an email when your gift cards are ready for pickup. Pick up gift cards at SSPJ School office during school hours.
- If you have a student at SSPJ School, gift cards will be sent home with your student.
3. Earn Money!
- In July, 80% of your earnings are applied directly to your FACTS tuition account or SSPJ School sends you a check!

Part of Saints Philip & James School’s mission is to provide Catholic education to every family who desires it for their children. To accomplish this, we depend on your charity and generosity. Buying gift cards is a terrific way to help students in need without spending a dime.
Your earnings are tax-deductible. Note: The face value of the gift card is not tax-deductible, only the earnings percentage of each gift card. Saints Philip & James School can provide you with an annual earnings report upon request. Contact the RaiseRight Coordinator.

- Download the RaiseRight mobile app on your smartphone and set up online payment to purchase cards on-the-go.

When online shopping…
- Go to RaiseRight.com first. Click on the store where you’d like to shop. You’ll automatically earn on anything you purchase. Watch this shopping online
- Install the RaiseRight extension on your computer or iPhone to earn when shopping online.
Holidays, birthdays, and special events
- Send eGift cards to your friends and family.

Christmas shopping:
- Buy gift cards as gifts and to stores where you plan to shop. There are extra bonus earnings during November and December.
- When shopping online, remember to visit RaiseRight.com first and click the store’s link for automatic earnings.
- This is the easiest time of year to increase your earnings!
Ask Family and Friends
- Invite your family and friends to enroll and earn for your family.
- Do you have customer loyalty apps on your smartphone (such as Starbucks, Dunkin, QuickChek)? Use reloadable gift cards from your digital wallet (mobile app) for stores and restaurants you visit frequently.

FAQ (frequently asked questions)
What forms of payment are accepted?
At Saints Philip & James School, we accept cash, check, credit or debit card. There is a 3% service charge for debit cards and 5% for credit cards. You may also place your order on RaiseRight.com and show the payment confirmation screen to pick up in-stock gift cards at the main office.
On RaiseRight.com you may pay by bank account, credit or debit card. There is small fee for each of these:
- Bank account: $0.29 convenience fee on each transaction (flat fee regardless of your order size)
- Debit card: 1% convenience fee on each transaction (based on total value of order)
- Credit card: 3% fee on each transaction (based on total value of order)
I want to donate my earnings to a family in need. How do I do that?
If ordering online at RaiseRight.com, go to Account > Settings and edit Who are your fundraising for? Type student in need and click Save.
If ordering by order form, write student in need next to Student Name. Thank you for donating! Your earnings will be applied to school families in need of financial assistance.
At checkout, my Visa / American Express / Mastercard Grocery + Auto gift card was declined. Why?
For credit card gift cards, the last four digits of the number on the front of the card are the “PIN” or “Security Code”. Enter the last 4 digits on the front of card and the gift card will work.
