Tuition Payment & Financial Aid
Tuition Payments
Saints Philip & James School partners with FACTS Management to securely manage tuition payments for our school families. FACTS is not a loan program, does not assess any interest or finance charges, and there is no credit check. See the FACTS brochure for more information.
All SSPJ families are asked to create a FACTS account before their child’s first day of school. FACTS charges a one-time account setup fee of $55.00. A bank account, credit card, or debit card must be provided. FACTS will automatically deduct/charge it monthly. Families will receive an email notification from FACTS ten days in advance of the automatic deduction. To change your payment due date, please contact the school’s FACTS Coordinator (shown on the right).
Pay-in-Full
Families who wish to pay the full tuition and will not use the Before Care or After Care programs do not need to set up a FACTS account. (Families who pay-in-full before August 1st will receive a 3% discount on tuition.) Please contact the FACTS Coordinator if you plan to pay in full.
After Care & Before Care Program Invoicing
SSPJ School uses “incidental billing” to invoice families for Before Care and After Care each month. This is a separate charge from the tuition payment. Families will receive an email notification from FACTS in advance of the automatic deduction.
Peace of Mind (POC) Benefit
FACTS offers an optional Peace of Mind benefit. It costs $22.50 per school year and will cover the remaining cost of tuition for the school year in the event a parent or authorized party under age 70 dies during the school year. During account setup, check YES if you would like this coverage.
Financial Aid Management
The Diocese of Metuchen and Saints Philip & James School also partner with FACTS for financial aid management. Every January-March, Catholic families may apply for diocesan financial aid and Hope Through Education scholarships right from their FACTS dashboard.
Non-Catholic families may also apply for Hope Through Education scholarships via FACTS. However, they will need to create a second user account to do so.
See the Tuition Assistance page for more information on how to apply.
