New Electonic Sign Project
Dear fellow alum,
Recently the alumni class representatives were asked to reach out to ALL alumni of St. Philip & St. James elementary school as well as those that graduated from the high schools — Phillipsburg Parochial, Phillipsburg Catholic and All Saints Regional. The purpose is to raise sufficient funds to purchase a much needed and state of the art electronic sign to be erected at the school entrance. We are asking assistance from alumni to bring this project from concept to reality.
You may have recently received a separate appeal letter from the school as well. That is a general annual appeal primarily targeted for scholarships/financial aid or STEM programs.
The goal for is to raise sufficient funds as quickly as possible to have the sign purchased and installed prior to school opening late August. Any excess funds pledged and collected will be directed to the annual appeal/endowment fund for other important projects.
We are asking you to prayerfully consider a gift of $200, or as generously as your means allow. No gift is too small and every gift will make a difference and the goal a reality. Already we have received pledges of from several alumni totaling over $2,500! We hope we can count on you as well.
St. Philip and St. James has a proud tradition of graduating gifted men and women of strong character, faith and intellect. Your contribution, which is tax deductible, is a way of “giving back” and strengthening the new generation of students in our school community. Once completed the sign will be a lasting legacy of ALL alumni.
Checks should be made payable to St. Philip & St. James School and sent directly to Donna Kucinski, Principal, at 137 Roseberry Street, Phillipsburg, NJ 08865. If you have any questions you can contact Mr. Nick Youpa at the school office number (908-859-1244). Nick is heading up this important project.
