I currently teach Middle School Social Studies at Saints Philip & James School. Listed below are brief descriptions of the major academic topics we will cover in class.

Social Studies

Grade 6

The students will be focused on acquiring geography and culture skills and will be able to apply those skills to examine the history and culture from places around the world.

Grade 7

The students will be exploring the history of the United States from discovery up to today.

Grade 8

The students will be learning about civics and the American government. We will be looking at our country’s governmental origins, its changes and its application to today's world.
